Recycling of bottles, cans, #1 and #2 plastics and newspapers, etc.
will continue to be picked up every Monday.

Yard Waste -- (856) 784-1477
Picked up by the Borough Public Works Department

Regular brush pick-up has resumed every other Monday.
All yard waste should be tied or bundled or placed in cans.
All branches should be cut into three foot lengths.
For very large amounts the Borough truck can be rented for $50
(contact Borough Hall at 784-0500 Mon - Thurs).

Please do not place leaves in piles in the street - leaves must be placed into cans or buckets.
Buckets can be borrowed from Public Works (call 784-1477).

Please make sure that all trash cans used for brush have drain holes in their bottom so that they do not fill with water.

Recycling Guides
Please check and make sure you are not attempting to recycle hazardous waste.
Plastics/Glass/Aluminum/Tin/Bi-Metal Cans Newspapers, Cardboard, Plastic bottles #1 & #2, Glass Containers (all colors accepted) & Aluminum, Tin, or Bi-Metals Cans
Place together in recycling bin and put at curb alongside regular trash. Please remember to remove the lids and neckbands from all glass containers.

Motor Oil
Motor Oil is not collected by the Boro.
You can take motor oil to Pep Boys for recycling.

Tires
Tires are considered trash.

Batteries
Regular or alkaline flashlight batteries are now considered trash.
Car batteries will be picked up curbside on your regular Boro recycling day.

Concrete/Asphalt
Call 784-1477 to arrange for the pickup of concrete or asphalt.
Small amounts, (less than a trash can) or a trash can of concrete can be placed at curb side on your regular boro recycling day.

Refrigerators/Air Conditioners
Refrigerator doors most be removed prior to placing the unit at the curb. Refrigerators and air conditioners are picked up by the boro on your regular recycling day. Yard Waste:
*Must be in containers or tied in bundles.
*Containers over 50lbs. will not be collected.
*Branches over 4FT. will not be collected.
*Plastic bags will not be collected.
*Cans containing trash and yard waste will not be collected.
*No loose yard waste will be collected.
*No loose yard waste can be placed on the curb.
*Remove dirt from all roots.
*All excess yard waste must be removed from the curbside and stored until the next pick-up. If you have a significant amount of yard waste, large containers are available for free. A Borough truck is available for a $50 fee.
The truck will be delivered and locked, you load it.

No Yard waste can be placed curbside from November 1st thru December 31st. Leaf collection is during this period. Place leaf piles in the street one foot from the curb during this season. Leaf's only are collected during this period . No other yard waste is collected during this time No trucks or large containers are available during this time.
