Trash or Recycling
Residents can call the Magnolia Public Works Department at
(856) 784-6162. Call on the day of collection, if your sure the truck has missed your house.
PLEASE NOTE: The Magnolia Public Works Department does not pick up commercial waste, liquid waste, commercial construction debris, medical waste or any other hazardous materials. During snow emergencies, residents may experience disruption in their on-time refuse and recycling collection service.
Public Works
Help our community stay clean and green on trash collection day and throughout the week. Trash and recyclable materials should be placed at the curb between 7:00 PM the night before collections and 7:00 AM on the collection day. Please respect your neighbors by removing the empty containers by 7:00 PM that day.

For very large amounts of brush the Borough truck can be rented for $50 (contact Borough Hall at (856) 784-0500 Mon - Thurs).
Large landscape buckets can be borrowed from Public Works for brush (call (856) 784-1477).
Please make sure that all trash cans used for brush have drain holes in their bottom so that they do not fill with water.
Help keep our streets clean, please do not place any loose yard waste in the street.
Grounds
The Public Works Department is responsible to maintain the following grounds.
Borough Hall
The Borough Hall grounds are cleaned and the grass is cut once a week.
Leaves are cleaned up in the fall.
Snow is removed from the parking lot, sidewalks and ramps during any snowstorm.
Police Department
Grass is cut once a week.
Snow is removed from the sidewalks during any snowstorm.
Ball Field
Grass is cut once a week.
Cystal Springs Park
Grass is cut once a week.
This includes Lakeview Avenue and the lower area around the spring.
Trees are pruned once per season.
Walnut Triangle
Grass is cut once a week.
Hemlock Triangle
Grass is cut once a week.
East & West Atlantic Avenues
Grass is cut once a week.
Trees and shrubs are pruned once a year or as needed.
Laurel Road
Grass is cut once a week.
War Monument
Grass is cut once a week.
Shrubs are pruned and fresh mulch is added prior to Memorial Day.
Leaves are cleaned up in the fall.
Snow is removed from the sidewalks during any snowstorm.
Center of Town
Sidewalks and curbs are cleaned as needed.
Trees are pruned once a season. The split rail fence is maintained as needed.
Curbs and street markings are painted once a year.
Snow is removed from the crosswalks during any snowstorm.
